Beasts of War Weekender and Minotaurs Update

Hello everyone, we got news that Beasts of War has put up one more segment on the Fauns up on their weekender, and is available to see here,

Some of this puts into context why we are aiming to do this project, and why we are encouraging it to come to life.

Minotaurs

Tim Barry and I will be working on the presentation of the weapons to come for the Minotaurs, we are both in agreeance so far on the Laprys battleaxe and a mild deviation into the claymore, the third so far I would like to make a sword and shield combo, in honor of Ajax. If you love the mythos, stay tuned, as we hope to impress. 

Lastly, great work, we are nearing the horizon, 10k is around the corner.

Main page reflects new centaur changes

Main page now reflects the centaur change proclamations. At 10k we create a small centaur sprue alongside a full sprue of female models. The smaller 3x4 sprue evolves at the 30k mark, to a full 6x4, doubling the area we have to put in parts for everybody. 

But we can only do this by breaking the 10k goal, so for those on the fence, please reach out to us. Operating kickstarters is not like running a normal webstore for us, we can only do our best when we hear from the backers. We understand everyone wants value. 

For those interested we do have add ons. The method to do this is pretty simple, and its simply switching the top pledge, down to the $1 pledge and adjusting for the difference. For example, those wanting a warband, and a faun sprue would just pledge $36 on the backer of the herd pledge base, and can be done the same as army in a box or the war party pledge (heck, you can even stack!). Because of the way kickstarter operates, it feels more like a manually done mail order. To help this, we were introducing backerkit to the scene after the kickstarter ends, making it more like the online store experience. 

Here is what is in the works, and available for choices

• Satyrs (3 pack) $10
• Sci fi Pack Add on $3 (enough to kit 3 laser/automatic fire rifles to the fauns) In development
• Sling Pack Add on $3 (enough to kit 3 slings to the fauns) In development
• Faun sprues- Male sprue- unlocked $6
• Faun sprues- Female sprue- $6, Unlocked at 10,000 
• Pewter Shaman Male - Unlocked $7.50 
• Pewter Shaman Female - Unlocked $7.50
• Minotaur Brute- Unlocked, $6
• Minotaurs- Unlocked at $11,000
• Centaurs - Small 3x4 frame for 2 horse bodies unlocked at 10k, at $30,000 a full 6x4 sprue is made, increasing accessories, and parts  ($3 sprue for 2 horse bodies)

Wow, 82% of the goal, you guys are awesome! Some updates on Sci FI, and females

Hello everyone! We are currently at 82% of the goal, great work. At this pace, we are currently forecasting around $14,000-$19,000, so we are gearing up for the Minotaurs next after the females.  On our chopping block for now is the sci fi add on.

Tim Barry has a mock up render of what a Faun could look like with a rifle fixed in his hands. Some adjustments to the hands and grips were made so you can have a perfect fit, and another option for games like 40k, Dead Zone or others.

 To help keep track at home: 

 Breaking 10k means we do the female sprue next, and we have volunteered to start the foundation    of the 3x4 sprue for the centaur body. This helps unlock the horse bodies in the higher tier pledges. It also adds a pack of two torsos as an add on for the rest of the folks. The 30k original goal for the centaurs will now take the 3x4 and expand it to a 6x4.
