Latest Updates from Our Project:

5/15 Update, Time to Bring Out the Centaurs
almost 7 years ago – Thu, May 16, 2019 at 09:46:34 PM

No worries, we haven't gone amok. We've been talking with our molder to see how we can cost effectively address the centaur situation. You may be pleased to hear.

Research Findings

At the 10k goal, it was clear people wanted females and others centaurs in nearly equal ways. So we had two solutions presented to us,

  • One where we took a 6x4 sprue and reduced it to two smaller molds (3x4) in unison
  • Or to do the female mold as expected, and pull from my resources to do a smaller mold

Seeing how everyone was passionate about the females and the centaurs, we decided not to take away from the females. Meaning, if we break the 10k initial goal, I will fund the foundation of the centaur sprue, starting with an initial 3x4 sprue. If we get to 30k, we will go full 6x4.

I asked Tim to see what our dimensions would leave us, and it seems we would have enough space to give us the foundation of a solid working sprue. Nothing overly fancy, but something to get the job done.

(pardon the static pose here, we will using the running pose pictured below)

Add Ons

Breaking the 10k barrier also opens up something that im sure everyone wants to: add ons. The army in a box will now have access to 20 bodies, and the war party pledgers will have 6 thrown in. Individual sprues will be accessible for $3.

Seemed like the best way to go from here. So there you have it folks, help us break 10k, we will do the centaurs and a full 6x4 female frame for the females.

Take care,

Some progress on the Sci Fi Add On
almost 7 years ago – Thu, May 16, 2019 at 02:57:18 AM

Hello folks, I want to make sure everyone knows that I am keeping to pace with the normal goals as usual. To help everyone we are trying to brain storm some ideas, and we are looking at comments and feedback.

For fun, we put together a small sci fi add on of a custom tailored rifle for the fauns. This would help those who play games such as 40k and Deadzone, or any other table top skirmish in this guise. Let us know what you think, as Tim is happy to take feedback and improvements.

*note: this will not interfere with normal pledges.

Setting up pewter packs doesn't take long, as we just need to make 3D prints of a sculpt and mold them with a pewter house.

When we finish, next step is to take a look at the slings that some of you are going to need. Mortal Gods backers seem to have a need.

Thank you again, and I hope everyone is well!

So let it be done!

Alright it's official, a pewter batch of three satyrs can be added for $10, and those with a war party pledge will have three thrown on, those with army in a box will now have 6.

These guys are 28mm scale, ideal for 25mm bases.

Enough support for the satyrs, we can generate a mold to reduce the costs and effectively double your bonus!

Satyr Add Ons in Pewter, Would you like that?
almost 7 years ago – Tue, May 14, 2019 at 10:57:50 AM

During the long waits sculpting the fauns, we had Emel Akiah (notable for his work with Victrix) do some Satyrs for us.

Fauns and Satyrs are interesting. Some are depicted as horses, others goats. In the initial stages we were trying to plot a berserker like unit. So at the moment, we currently have enough sculpts to give a unique blend of 3.

All the heads are compatible with another, shields, weapons and tails.

Depicted on 25mm bases.

As these are not plastic, an early round of pewter can be done, if you would like us to add this as an option, let us know what you think.
